How do I care for my Spangle Fandango jewellery?

  • When not wearing your jewellery, store it in the original box.
  • Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
  • Avoid wetting your jewellery; don't wear it whilst swimming or showering
  • Apply cosmetics and perfume before wearing your jewellery

I use mixed media and different finishes so it's worth understanding how to care for these different elements:

Beaded Beads

These are tiny glass beads woven together using a strong nylon thread. Avoid crushing as you could break the glass beads and this in turn could break the thread. Avoid high temperatures. Keep clean with a soft dry cloth.

Sterling silver

Can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. Avoid silver cleaning dips as this can tarnish the beaded elements.  

Oxidised silver

Where I have used a chemical to oxidise the metal you should not use any kind of silver cleaning product as this will remove the oxidisation.  The oxidisation does erode in time in more exposed areas which add to the character of the piece. To clean these items just use a soft dry cloth, even rubbing your finger across the piece helps to keep it shiny. 

How long does it take to receive my purchase?

My jewellery is carefully packaged in a sustainable box with tissue paper to keep it secure. I use insured carriers. Typically your purchase will be dispatched within 48 hours.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free to the UK. 

To the EU, the rate is £15.

To the rest of the world including the USA, it is £25.  

Postal addresses must be accurate and complete to ensure precise delivery. I cannot accept responsibility where there is customer error. Items are insured and will require a signature on arrival.

International customers are responsible for all charges, duties, tariffs and taxes as these are beyond my control.

What is your Returns Policy?

I hope you are delighted with your Spangle Fandango jewellery. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase I would be happy to adjust, exchange or refund your order. 

If this is the case you must get in touch with Spangle Fandango within 14 days of receipt of delivery to arrange your refund/exchange/adjustments. To start a return please contact me quickly by email at

If your return is accepted, I’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it; unworn and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Exceptions for returns are

  • earrings
  • custom made orders
  • sale items

I'm happy to discuss any adjustments.  These will be carried out at an additional cost.

Exchanges are possible for items apart from the above exceptions, please do get in contact to discuss.  Any return postage will be paid for by the customer.  Please use an insured carrier as any items remain the buyers responsibility until safely received by Spangle Fandango.


You shall be notified once your item is received. I will let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
